Hi everyone, welcome to another year of IT. This year (and hopefully the following years too) I find myself teaching in the western areas of New South Wales, Narrabri and Coonabarabran. I am currently teaching two classes: Digital Media on Wednesday evenings (6pm – 9pm) and Certificate I IT on Thursday mornings (9am – 12pm). As in previous semesters, this website will serve as a platform for you (my students) to contact me, and access resources that I make available to you.
On the right hand side of this page, you can see a sidebar. Directly underneath the sidebar is a section called “Categories”. You can use the category links to automatically list the notes and resources that are relevant to you.
If you are in my Digital Media class ( a course also known as Graphics, Photoshop and other various names) then clicking the “Digital Media” link will list all the note and resources I have provided for this class alone. You will receive a “Statement of Attainment” at the completion of this course.
If you are in the Certificate I (read “one”) IT course, then clicking the TAFE IT ICA10105 / 19000 link will list all the notes and resources I have provided for this class alone. You will receive a “Certificate I in IT” at the completion of this course.
If you are in the Certificate II (read “two”) IT course, then clicking the TAFE IT ICA20105 / 19001 link will list all the notes and resources I have provided for this class alone. You will receive a “Certificate II in IT” at the completion of this course.
All of these courses are “32 weeks” long. In other words, you won’t be finished until the end of the year. I am a strong believer in the Non-Re-Inventing of the Wheel. In other words, I will only create fresh brand new notes, if I am unable to source suitable notes and resources elsewhere. If however you feel that the resources and notes I have provided are too complex or completely stupid, please let me know and I will take the time to create fresh new notes.
Having said that, this website is for you! So feel free to leave comments, suggestions or feedback in the relevant places. This website does have a forum, perhaps we could use that? If you need to get in contact with me before our next class, feel free to use this website to do so. You can also send me an email to the address I provided you in class or leave a message for me on the phone number/s also provided. For security reasons I have omitted both the phone number/s and email address from this website.
