Actually Posted on 23rd June 2008
Hi everyone. This week we started another new PowerPoint presentation, using all the little tricks and features of Microsoft PowerPoint that we have learned. Owing to being somewhat tired that night (and I do apologise for my lack of teaching), I decided to leave you to your own devices, to copy what I was creating on the screen. From what I could tell, most of you seemed to be getting the hang of it, which was actually pleasing to see! While PowerPoint is not an overly complex program to use, it is hard to get a good grasp of it, when we only work with it for 3 hours, once a week. Having said that, everyone has progressed with PowerPoint at a good rate, which gives me some time up my sleeve. I wonder what we’ll do next lesson?
Below is a completed copy of the PowerPoint presentation we created. Actually it’s only completed as far as we got in the lesson. Feel free to add more to it, and send it in to me!
Below is a video tutorial, of how to create the PowerPoint presentation above. You can watch it online, or download a copy if you wish.
Due to the length of the video, you may want to let it buffer through one time, before watching it.
You may or may not need the following PowerPoint file, if you are planning on following along with the video. I found that sometimes when searching through clipart, I was not able to find the pictures I wanted. For your convenience, I have put these pictures into another PowerPoint file, and in the video, you will see that I actually access this file, and copy the pictures from it.
You can download a copy here.
Remember; I put these links and resources here for your use. So if they are of no use to you, too hard to understand or you feel they are off topic, then please let me know, via any of the communication channels you have with me. I am more then happy to make changes, source better content or even create fresh content from scratch, just for you! You need only ask … nicely!
