Hi everyone. This week we went through a process of cutting, copying and pasting text and other items from a PDF document into Microsoft Word. The goal of this exercise was to help you become more competent with cutting, copying and pasting on your computer, but also to use the skills we have learned in previous lessons, to recreate the text as it looks in the PDF document, in your Microsoft Word document.
You can download a copy of the PDF document here. The document is compressed in a zip file, so you will need to unzip it first.
I have followed up this session with a video tutorial of what we covered.
Due to the length of the video, you may want to let it buffer through one time, before watching it. You can also click the link above to download a copy to your computer. You will need to use a program like VLC or FLV Player to watch it.
Next week you will be completing a quiz, to finish up the semester, and also this current topic. Nothing overly complex, just a Microsoft Word document!
Remember; I put these links and resources here for your use. So if they are of no use to you, too hard to understand or you feel they are off topic, then please let me know, via any of the communication channels you have with me. I am more then happy to make changes, source better content or even create fresh content from scratch, just for you! You need only ask … nicely!
