Hi Everyone. This week we spent the first part of our lesson, finding out about each others computer. While you didn’t need to record anything down, the goal of at the exercise was to get everyone to bring information about their computers to the class room. By doing so, you prove that you do indeed know how to “Operate a Personal Computer”, also the name of the first module, which we will finish next week. Following our discussion, we covered:
File and Folder Properties
Renaming, Cutting, Copying and Pasting Files
Deleting Files and Using the Recycle Bin.

Hi Everyone. This week I gave everyone access to the Tryout Version (30 Day Trial) of Photoshop CS. We are still in deliberation over getting you access to Photoshop CS for use at home, mainly due to the version we are using, being quite old. We are hoping to be able to work something out, however the trial will have to suffice for now.
This week we covered the use of the Transform Tool, and the Clone Stamp Tool. I have provided some links in regards to these below.
Adobe CS Help - Free Transform
Adobe CS Help - Using the Clone Stamp Tool
Please don’t forget that the Adobe CS Help Manual is a great place to seek assistance. The entire help manual is available here on this website, and it also comes as part of Adobe Photoshop CS as well. Each time I link to the Adobe CS Help manual, don’t forget to make your way through the entire section, not just the first page I link you to.
Tutorials Training - Discover the Clone Stamp Tool
We also had a short discussion, which I will elaborate on next week, in regards to taking good photos with your camera. Below I have provided a couple of links for your own reading.
Image Master - Taking Digital Pictures
Don’t Forget To Bring Your Camera Next Week!
